4 ACRES | CUSTOM HOME

This project was incredibly special , as it marked the very first custom home build for my firm. Located on four acres of generational family land in Richmond, Texas, this home was not just a new build—it was a legacy in the making.

Designed for a client who frequently hosts family and friends, the home needed to be both beautiful and highly functional for large gatherings. The client envisioned a modern farmhouse aesthetic, which we brought to life with a striking black-and-white exterior complemented by warm wood detailing. Inside, we incorporated unique tile installations with brass accents, ensuring that every detail felt custom and personal.

The heart of the home featured two breathtaking focal points: the kitchen and the primary bathroom. The kitchen was designed to be open, inviting, and highly functional for hosting, with custom finishes that balanced modern elegance with warmth. The primary bathroom, however, became the true showstopper—a serene and luxurious retreat featuring exquisite tile work, refined fixtures, and an ambiance of relaxation.

Although this was a custom home, the client and builder opted for a semi-custom approach to stay within budget while still achieving a stunning result. I worked closely with them to navigate the logistics, ensuring that every choice reflected both the client’s vision and practical needs.

The final result was a breathtaking home that perfectly blends modern farmhouse charm with a touch of eclectic character. Seeing this project come to life was an unforgettable experience, and it set the foundation for future custom builds in my firm. A true labor of love!
